Wonderful beginning to the fic, however I do believe you're missing a little text at the end of the chapter:

Spike felt another burst of electricity hit his body; he had one last thought before unconsciousness claimed him (specifically here)

I could be wrong and it's only missing a period. Could that be a pregnant pause? **groans** Sorry - it's late and the pun slipped out. Off to read the rest of the fic to date.
